...It almost feels like trolling.

No, seriously; I've wanted to do a Mario piece of some time, but just like most other things, I didn't feel capable of doing it justice. I was right back then, but I'm not now. I actually had quite a lot of fun with this, and got the general feel of the atmosphere that I wanted, too.

Also, FIRST MARIO IS UPSIDE-DOWN. WOO! Enjoy, peeps.

I don't get what he's doing @_@

I'd assume he'd be flipping backwards but I don't see how anyone would wind up in that position doing so

Just take it as it is. I have no idea why you're attempting to apply logic to a drawing featuring a fat plumber that fighting a mutant fire-breathing turtle. Especially as backflip is in the game.

This is certainly an impressive display of power that is nestled within your finger tips and a lovely display of your skills through vivid story telling and style that certainly continues to grow considerably. The presentation of this piece certainly has the energy that would come from these two encounter with one another and a fine example of how you have shown to have developed a stronger understanding in the story telling of your work. The way you've set up the scene is quite potent and certainly gets into the thick of things with a strong portrayal of Bowser and the aerodynamic skills of Mario notice up above, along withe the rich palette of tones you've chosen for both the foreground and background this piece has the charisma that, much like the games, draws you instantly. You really seem to understand how to bring all aspects of the concept to life and with the evolution of your talents continuing to grow as they due it certainly becomes mesmerising to just take in the amount of detail that you've placed within your work.

Keep it up.

Nice! You drew Mario in the Mario and Luigi style but gave him blue eyes and a red M!

DAMN.

okay, let me first begin by saying that I was pleasantly surprised seeing this show up. seeing this caused a wave of nostalgia, since Mario was the first thing I was introduced to as a gamer, and has been one of my favorites ever since..especially SM64. -classic-

anyway bottom line: great jobs on the fire breath from Bowser. it has the same cloudy look to it that the games more than oftenly portray. but in all honesty, the whole thing looks awesome. Mario and Bowser look cool in your style, so to sum it all up:

Nicely done~!
