Well, what can I say? It had to be done.

SONIC COLOURS/SONIC COLORS made me feel things about Sonic games that I haven't felt about Sonic games for quite some time. That emotive feeling was somewhat stirred when I got to play Sonic Unleashed for the first time, but this was something else. Then it stirred something else within me that I haven't felt for avery long time... The urge to make fanart for it. As some of you may have noticed, my Gallery is rather lacking in pure game fanart, but this game inspired me enough to make one. And having done so, I know I wanted it to be good!

All of this- start to finish- was streamed as a Colours special on my LiveStream channel, which there was a large turnout for across the three days that I did it. I would like to thank everyone who came to watch for coming, and I hope that we can do it again soon. As for this~ there's not much else to say. I'm happy with the outcome, and it has what I wanted: lots to look at and a happy Sonic. Thank you for SEGA, Sonic Team, and Sonic Colours for restoring hope in an old as hell Sonic fan. ♥

There's so much activity going on around this piece atm, so I'll leave my dA-related thank-yous for another edit once this piece has had some sitting time! ♥ (And since that... [EDIT: 04.04.11] This picture still is a firm favourite in my gallery. And for that I do thank you all for the constant favourites and comments that it gets; 3,500+ to date! As a present, I have posted an update and shall now by known as HYBRiD COLOURS! ...A few colour palette tweaks, changes to Rocket Wisp and Yacker's size has been scaled up slightly to match the perspective. I also took into account the fact that there would probably be some luminescence going on, so we've got that going on there to-- How the heck did Violet Void get there?!
[EDIT: 03.06.11] To celebrate Sonic's 20th Birthday, and Summer of Sonic 2011, this print will be exclusively available as a massive high-quality A2 (23.4 x 16.5 inches) to purchase as a Summer of Sonic 2011 attendee. If you're not attending, no worries! There will be an opportunity to purchase it at a later date.
[EDIT: 28.07.11] I just wanted to apply a quick edit to thank you all so very, very much for all your love and support on this deviation; 4,000 and counting as of today! I never expected this to recieve as much love as it has done since it's conception in November, and hopefully I'll be able to rouse a similar response with other Sonic gaming-related deviations in future~! All your support- in any form- is appreciated. Always know this!

The print is of course limited run (due to funds), and will cost £14.00 (GBP; 23.00USD). It certainly has to be seen to be believed, I'm so proud of them!
